1. It still sounds like I am being forced to like it to me, if I do I'm a pervert if I don't I'm still a pervert but a jealous one! It's good but it is what it is nothing more nothing less.
2. I'm still a bit wet behind the gills when it comes to scales.
3. I dont want to get battered anyway!
4. Maybe a mod should put a 'Fin' to it?
5. Well I was having a whale of a time until you waded in!
6. Has this thread reached the end of the line then? Shame if it has as I was just getting hooked!
7. I've never seen one in the flesh, looks weird! I wonder how many were made?
8.
So I guess mentioning her tits is out is it?
9.
Yes, but they only get really interesting when you see them for £700 SH. Same as American Deluxes, at around £1000 for 5'ers.
To you maybe but someone must have paid close on the rrp for them to become available at those prices new used mustn't they? When I look at my regular bills and car repair costs I dont worry about a few hundred quid these days, life's too short imo. The OP's bass is growing on me too
10.
I enjoyed it. Nice groove. It's just as well that music is not a competition. She has a nice voice on the instrument.
I enjoyed it to be honest, I could watch her play in a covers band all night and I bet she would do a great job but all I am hearing is a copy of Nate's line in a copycat fashion, which in itself is not easy I grant you.
11. I sea you have moved onto fish puns, and on a bass forum, terrible.
12. I have just watched the clip with better audio and she can play no doubt, it would take me a while in the practice room to nail it as good, fair play. I also have the goods to match
13.
good god why is it when you post a woman playing bass there must an agenda behind it. i posted it purely on her playing. I'm sure there are many better bassists out there.. i just happen to like her playing.

bang on.. why do i get the feeling there is a bit of underlying sexism on this forum.
But the whole thing gets flipped back at us, I dont think she is anything special regardless of her breastages, it is always the same when anyone wants to disagree when there is a female player. I hope most of you have known my posting style long enough to know that I do not blow my own trumpet (go on Discreet have fun with that ) but honestly I would hope to nail that tune to the same standard before it went in our set list, I am not jealous of her ability at all. That is not to say no one is allowed to enjoy it, but can I be allowed to not really rate it overly great without being taken to task over her gender? If it was an audio only clip my reaction would still be, Meh.
14. I can't hear her so I shall reserve my judgement then, visually it looks no better or worse than the standard I'd be expected to play it at in an average wedding band IMO.
15. She wont take Marta's crown imo, my own version would be just as good if not better but I doubt I'd get any interest? Can't really hear her anyway.
16. Lakland Skylines sell in that region so it can be done.
17. Don't worry about 34" fivers, I've played many that have a great B and plenty of naff 35" fives. Get one that you like the best, ignor the finish and style to keep the budget down rather than buying a great looking poor playing one, most of the basses suggested look, play and sound great anyway
18. "Morning campers, is there any warm water left?"
19.
Shell is winning with the number of camping related puns. The other two are level pegging
Zip it!
20.
You were both guilty of loitering within tent.
Trust you to pitch up with something like that......
21.
That doesn't sound daft at all - it's a great idea.
Well that's my one good idea I get per year used up then and its only March! Lol
22. And you know some basschatter will be at your gig one day and say "I love that MM, I could really hear the neck pickup!"
23.
Maybe your thumb is GASing for the wider range of sound and thumb-friendly twin pickup bass?
As daft as this sounds you could actually buy a genuine HS guard and modify a single coil pickup housing to fit in the gap as a fake S pickup thumbrest?
24. I really like the Ibanez SR505, looks plays and sounds like a much more expensive bass than it is IMO and IME.
