Yes my box arrived, but the CD’s didn’t until yesterday.

Pathetically materialistic of me I know, but it makes me very happy to complete the set with case. The full CD set is going for stupid money on eBay, the vinyl set for even more. Not selling mine though. Nothing like getting that Friday feeling on with a bit of Bowie in the background.

To a certain extent I agree with both comments, but there was never a need to copy the originals when you have musicians that are talented enough to produce equally valid and different versions. I'm a massive Bowie fan (obviously), but I'm not one of these people that are so tied into the Ziggy era (for example) that nothing else will do. Here's an example (of which there are many) where GAD does more than Trevor did on the original. This is the line I choose to play when we perform it. Trevor with additional frills if you like 😀

Meant to say @Bluewine, Having watched the NYE video, it's the same crew as Maple Road isn't it? Does this originals band run alongside Maple Road or is MR done?

Mmm. I don’t agree. Certainly not with the idea that she simplified the songs anyway. I believe Bowie encouraged interpretation. If he didn’t, Garson wouldn’t have been around for long.

Jon tells me that the one in the middle is classed as 5A and the ones either side are Master Grade. My initial thought was the one on the left as the one on the right has some broader stripes in it.

Yes, I think that was the trolley I remember being spoken about. Not sure if Lidl are still selling them though.

In fact, looking at @Happy Jack’s link, it may well have been that one.

I seem to remember reading a thread about trolleys here a while back. From memory, I think was a sturdy affordable option that a lot of users liked, but I can’t remember what it was or how long ago. I’ll see if I can find it.

Having watched quite a few videos over the past hour, I would be very surprised if the SA C-4 couldn't do what you want it to do, but, it has a fairly hefty price tag from new. To get the best out of it, you would probably have to use the interface. If you could get your head around that, I'm sure it would nail the P.Y.T. sound.
