    Hi all, After a heavy year of gigging, a wheel on my cab has broken into many pieces and is beyond repair. Does anyone know where I might get a spare wheel (or set of 2) for my Genz Benz 212 Neox Cab.     Never take a spare double bass but always take a spare electric bass with me for Double Bass / Electric bass gigs - on occassions (especialy for low paid / low pressure gigs), I'll leave a 'cheapy' in the boot of the car, but for weddings etc I'll always have back-ups of all equipment to hand. I always imagine an equipment 'failure' during the first dance etc - think of all those family videos you'd be in

    Hi, I've been offered a MIA Jazz bass in PX for a Double Bass. I'd appreciate some guidance with regard to it's market value please: Fender Jazz made in Corona California , deluxe flame maple , serial No ..DZ4****** Made in 2004 ..all fittings are gold plated .. couple of small dinks on back slight wear mark on front , otherwise good condition all round I have no pictures of the bass - but plan to look at it over the next few days. Any thoughts much appreciated Greg

    For Sale: Stentor Conservatoire double bass, bow and padded case. The bass is a 3/4 size - becuase Stentor make their instruments very playable - you could class this as a small 3/4. Description from Stentor Website: [i]A high quality double bass outfit suitable for the more advanced student. The Stentor Conservatoire double bass is carved from selected solid tonewoods with natural flame. It has a fully carved front and back and is fitted with an ebony fingerboard. It also has good quality full plate brass machineheads for easy tuning. The Stentor Conservatoire double bass comes complete with a padded cover with bow and accessory pockets and a good quality wood bow.[/i][list] [*][i]Carved from solid tonewoods[/i] [*][i]Flamed back and front[/i] [*][i]Ebony fingerboard[/i] [*][i]Shellax varnish[/i] [*][i]Brass machineheads[/i] [*][i]Good quality bridge[/i] [/list] The bass is used but is in generally good condition, with only a few small laquer chips on the edges of the instrument and one on the scroll. The bow is in great condition - barely used. The padded case is generally ok, but has got several rips around the handles which would require some sewing / patching to rectify (a skill I don't have!). It still serves it's purpose though. For sale at £995 collected from Southampton. However, I am also looking for a much cheaper & smaller 1/2 size Double Bass and/or a Fender P Bass LYTE (Japan) with cash my way.     Hi, I brought Stuart Clayton's Giants of Bass book (New) to help a student who is leanring some tunes from it, however Mr Post-person creased the envelope causing both CD's to crack.The seller has part-refunded the sale as he has no further copies avaibable. I rung the publisher, but their phone just rings and rings. Before I have to resort to buying another copy from a high-street retailer - could anyone do a copy of the 2 CD's for me?
