1. Hi all, For sale here today is one Boss RC-2 Loop Station Pedal, in virtually new condition. Complete with box and promo leaflets. Currently I can't find the manual but will send on if I find it - however full instructions (and spec) can be found here: http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/_sup...454&iStcd=4 Library picture below, but if you'd like pictures of the actual pedal, then please ask (although it looks the same!!) I'm trying to raise funds for a fretless five, so would consider swap with the appropriate cash to balance. or £95.00 posted in UK (paypal or cheque or cash on collection all cool) I'll include a patch lead too for free - you'll just need a new battery or a suitable power adaptor Any questions, feel free to ask, Greg. 6.
Try tenor tuning! EADGC instead of BEADG Barre that C&G for lovely intervals... No dodgy "B" to worry about either!
Thats one idea I'll consider....would get the mind thinking too when swapping mid-set too between standard tuning!
 7.
You make it sound like we all live in a retirement home for '80s Bassists.
8. Howdy all.... Been thinking about joining the fretless community for a while now. Need some input from you all

I only play five string basses
Recession budget of £500~£600 tops.
Prefer to buy s/h but open to suggestions.
Light weight is a positive factor as I sometimes get 'bass players shoulder'
Will be used mainly for laid back soul / some jazz n blues / backing acoustic musicians
My main concern is the low B string sounds dull on some of the fretless 5's i've tried.
What should I go out and try......Discuss

 18.
hows the mxr bass octave compared to say a boss oc-2 or the ebs?
Hi, Having not tried either the OC2 or the EBS for any lenght of time I really can't compare for you. However, it works well for what I want it for. It definately prefers to be first in the chain. It tracks well down to about an open A string. I tend to use it much higher up though anyway, and up past G it sounds nice and tracks really well indeed. Greg
 19. Morning, Finally got round to taking a picture of my updated board. The loop pedal doesn't usually hit the road - more for home practice. Other than that; MXR Octave> Red Onion Bypass/loop with blend> Dod Stereo Chorus (Loop)Boss Eq>MXR Q>MXR DI/Dist> Trying out the board with post and pre rack compressor at the moment. Greg
