1. Do you still have the Amplite?
2. Thanks for your advice - much appreciated
3. Thank you - very helpful
4. A slightly higher sweetspot before the valve distorts
5. Hi, My DI XLR output (rear of Genx Benz GBE600) decided to start cracking / popping at a recent gig (if lead with touched even slightly). The lead was ok, so I have just taken apart the amp to see if there is a problem with the socket. As the pictures show, there are small cracks at the bottom of the socket - so I guess it needs replacing. Any ideas where I can get a suitable part in the UK? The socket is mounted on a PCB board and attaches with two screws at the front. Thanks Greg
6. Thanks for this - yes I have looked at this site before (from a post of yours I think!). Just wondering what other valves people actually recommend / have tried.
7. Hi, Has anyone changed their 12AX7 valve in a Genz Benz GBE600 to a valve with slightyl less gain (ie 12AT7)? If you have, what valve did you try? Greg

9. Hi Guys, I'm trying to create a list of bass guitar (tuition based) books that are printed WITHOUT TAB. (I'd rather this post not turn into a discussion about how great or not great TAB is though ) Please feel free to add any books that you think are relevant and printed without tab. Thanks Greg

11. Following on from the discussion here ( http://basschat.co.u...oop-with-blend/ ) I am now able to offer this effects loop switch pedal for sale. Complete with blend control and on-off bright blue LED (mains driven - adaptor not supplied). Selling for £40.00 posted within UK --- or will swap with similar value item - open to offers. 12. Red Onions sounds vaguely familiar. Shame they went out of business, this is a very robustly built pedal. Wonder what I could sell it for?
13. Hi Folks, I'm trying to identify what company made this pedal for me. It's a effects loop pedal with the added option of a blend control. Also, I had it made with a LED (mains), but will run without power. I'm trying to find out who made it (around 2005), so I can price it up to sell, as I'm no longer using it - I've tried old email accounts and web-surfing but I can't seem to pinpoint who made it. I'm pretty sure it was UK make, but Looper (USA) seem to make similar custom made pedals. Thanks in advance, Greg
14.
Looks like it could be very useful if you've been flooded.
"shaped like the hull of a Hawaiian canoe" - could be great for paddling around in... however, the "Hawaiian warrior helmet headstock" might frighten people :-)
