What do you need the MB3 to do that the stomp can't? If you're using it for effects only it probably makes sense in the loop.

I'm looking to do some bass rewiring without soldering, but struggling to find a suitable part that's not going to take up loads of space inside the control cavity -- the generic terminal blocks I have in the attic seem way too big. Can anyone recommend a specific part, or what term to search for to get something appropriate?

Yeah, you'd hope they've done their homework about ergonomics but it looks like neck-dive city to me at a glance. I'd like to try one but suspect they'll be out of my budget anyway.

Are you triggering samples? If so could you bake the fade-out into the sample?

It does seem neat, if you can live with only having access to 1 or 2 presets available on the fly. Definitely makes more sense to me than the HX One.

How did I forget Fear Factory - Demanufacture and Obsolete are two of my favourite B string-centric albums. Abyss by Unleash The Archers is a recent banger, also in B standard. Psycroptic have guitars in drop D, I think, but the bassist plays a 5 live.

I've cycled with a bass in a gig bag with backpack straps which was ok. On a standard bike I think a practice amp might be challenging. You might be able to bungee it on to a pannier rack but you'd need to check the rack will take the weight. Having that much weight out back can really mess with the handling as well. Cargo bike time? 😉

No personal experience but iirc Halo was synonymous with over promising and under delivering on some other forums I've been on. Caveat emptor...

I had a fretted and fretless set of the 5 string versions which were nice, but I was always baffled by the fact they didn't have the actual model name/number on them anywhere. Still have my Milestone which was my first bass, and saw me through a lot of practice and many gigs, not too mention learning how to do my own setups.

The only one I've seen so far that I'd want is the 1986 5-string Wal in the classifieds here. But not £7k+ want.
