  1. Have you tried asking the place you bought from? If you bought from a shop (ie not a private sale) then they should be the ones supplying you with any missing parts/replacing the whole thing, surely?
  2. Very much this, incredible as always.
  3. All the worst people in the world are all in on it which is a bit of a red flag for me.
  4. Their 7/8 string guitars are pretty popular with the progressive/technical metal crowd. Not sure I'd seen the basses before though.
  5. Rare example of an instrument that can give your belt bass rash with all those studs on the back.
  6. ah good I was just thinking the Sterling line was not confusing enough already
  7. I'll have that red-black fade 5er please
  8. In the 15" camp and requiring a crane to go anywhere else 😅
  9. Weirdly I read this thread and looked up the bass, then went to a gig in the evening where one of the bassists was playing one. Looked cool!
  10. All the ergonomic benefits of a headless but with added sharp edges to keep the guitarist in line
  11. Saves a whole 15g/tuner, incidentally.
  12. Not generally much of a tinkerer but some black ultralites came up in the classifieds and here we are 😅 Still need to change the strings and clean up some bits. And read up on how to clean a matt finish.
  13. Paging Mr Dali to the front desk please, you seem to have lost something. NGL I kind of love it. edit: not enough to pay £1899 for it though
  14. Kubicki Factor is a famous one.
  15. I didn't even get on to the fact that it looks like I've bundled Mr Blobby away in the spare room
  16. Used once for baptism rehearsal then cleaned and kept indoors. Maybe all you high performance athletes can use it as an ice bath or something? Free to collect from Glasgow G51
  17. Could be worse, they're also bringing back the Iceman
  18. Including 6-strings -- not many of those about in the non-boutique space aside from the recent Squier.
  19. Yeah I think these are brand new? Interesting to see them do a whole range of j-types https://www.ibanez.com/usa/products/model/mdm/
  20. Probably either May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way by Omnium Gatherum or An Insatiable Violence by Cryptopsy (listener discretion advised on that one). But after a very strong end to 2024 for my specific favourite artists it's been a pretty quiet year for new releases.
  21. Just recite the Litany Against Discourse to yourself and move on. "I will not engage with bad posts. Bad posts are the mind-killer. I will face the bad posts. I will let them pass through me. When the bad posts have gone, there shall be nothing. Only I will remain."
  22. This is very much a metal recommendation but he produced Opeth's Blackwater Park, which is one of my top two or three albums ever.
