2x boxes, each containing some combination of additional cardboard and bubblewrap. Free to anyone who can collect from Glasgow G51, near the south end of the Clyde tunnel and QEUH. Been keeping in case I sell something but could do with the space back. Happy for anyone to take either or both. Additional tat not included.

Just thinking about this is stressing me out 🙃

I think my most embarassing one is when I managed to book tickets to go to a gig (to see DB virtuoso Edgar Meyer iirc) without realising that my band at the time also had a (totally different) gig that night, which somehow I didn't realise until they called me to find out why I wasn't at the soundcheck. Fortunately they were able to cope without me for one night but not my finest hour.

That looks great, it's a very elegant design to my eye. One of the nicer headstocks in the boutique space imho

Yessss that looks sick, I love it, even if it is wildly impractical

Yeah I was hoping there would be something obvious I'd missed but will try getting in touch with them. Thanks folks. -
HX Stomp/Mission SP1-L6 issue

Apologies, it is an L6H. Although it looks like the non-H would be the EP1-L6? -
HX Stomp/Mission SP1-L6 issue

Good shout, thanks -- pretty sure I have a rev B, but tried with a TRS Y cable and the behaviour seems the same. So leaning back towards something inside the pedal is not quite right? -
That's a pretty thing! I have one Cort instrument and a couple made by them for other brands and they're always great quality.

I picked up a second-hand SP1-L6 (that's the expression pedal with toe switch) and I'm struggling to get it to work correctly with my HX Stomp. Basically it seems like I can get either the expression OR the FS on the tip. e.g. here the toe switch works as FS4 While here, I can assign exp1 in my patch and see it working But I don't seem to be able to get either on the ring I have a double footswitch which works perfectly as FS4/FS5 with the same TRS cable, so my guess is either the switching inside the pedal isn't working properly or I'm somehow using the wrong cable? I have tried a variety of other cables I had kicking around without any joy. Can anyone suggest anything I've missed?

The peril of the manual gearbox
velvetkevorkian replied to Richard Jinman's topic in EUB and Double Bass
I've had a 4/4 5 string and 3 people in a Nissan Micra back in the day (not very safely 😬 ) -
Yeah sadly these ones were any colour as long as it's black, but this will do me until I can find something even pointier

The neck profile on these is so nice. Looks like you got a nice clean one, congrats!

Also fair play to Rich Tone Music, I paid for this yesterday after lunch and it was with me in under 24h.

Been curious about these since they were released a few years ago, as I much prefer the RG style to the Soundgear range, and a fretted 5 was a hole in my collection. When I spotted this I had to take a punt. It's black, it's got a pointy headstock and sharkfin inlays, and it cost less than a Squier. What more do you need. It plays nicely, although we'll see how low the action can go, and sounds fine (although first impression is that the preamp does SFA). Neck's not as flat as I'd expected/hoped for based on the reputation of their guitar necks. The headstock also survived me immediately twatting it into the attic roof as I was unpacking it unscathed🙄 Good for metal innit. Although the skull volume knob might be a step too far.

I have a Legend 6 that was rewired to passive and it is very quiet and the tone knobs don't do an awful lot, I think a preamp might be the way to go.

Can anyone identify this 8 string bass (with trem!)?

Aha! Different name but looks like the same band and bass??? -
Can anyone identify this 8 string bass (with trem!)?

I think it might be a Tune, based on the body shape? Can't find any 8 strings or trems on their site though... -
Peavey resurrects the Cirrus line

Interesting, I wonder if it's mainly to warm people up for a reintroduction of the BXP range at a more attainable price point.
