  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks for this, that's very useful info 👍
  3. Welcome BTB
  4. The font on OPs photos looks heavier and deeper
  5. What do you do with an amp that doesn't have one? That's right. Turn up the knobs you're used to and play using your ears like normal. Who takes any notice of a flickering needle anyway at any point? I like Ashdown gear but tbh its just another gimmIck to worry about. Just ignore it and play, bro.
  6. Some might question the wisdom bit... fingers crossed
  7. Great! Very helpful. How much you pay for this?
  8. These are excellent drop in replacements for Sire basses btw
  9. Everything above is correct. The pots are 80's Japanase models, wires are a mix of American and Japanese. The decal over the nitrocellulosic varnish is period correct, but is missing the model name and patent numbers look like gone... The stamp on the neck has the right font for that period with the larger bar on the right part of the A. The fingerboard wood must be Brazilian rosewood, but it really looks like Indian rosewood, which was used later. The pickups are period correct (wire type, grey bottom, no stamp). I won't repeat what others already said, so read it again as everything is right. I definitely need more high definition photos to go further...
  10. two wireless microphones, brand new never used i have 2 sets of these to go cheap for just 28 a pair ! £40 on amazon these are prity god to be fair. nice and clear, and both go to single jack receiver collection from the wirral or can post for 4.99 first class only
  11. I would think so, they are the same scale length. I don't know for certain though...
  12. To paraphrase Sir Bob: You gaze into the doorway Of temptation's angry flame And every time you pass that way You'll always hear your name... (and I could be in Manchester some time soon...)
  13. eBay, I think. I measured the distance between the strap button and the top of the bass, then from that edge to the bridge. I think it was for a guitar, but it works perfectly...
  14. Been a bit busy this week and forgot to put a few up with Flabba on bass, it was his 75th birthday the other day and he’s still going strong, such a great player with exceptional timing , there’s so many to choose from so here’s a few, police in helicopter is probably one of my favourites, do you have any? Hugh Mundell Barrington Levy Sugar Minott
  15. My L series is in the same place as above.
  16. Today
  17. Ill try a squirt of deoxit as suggested
  18. Yes I'll try that. I have a can in the music room
  19. Not clear enough picture to tell
  20. Yep agreed I just tried it thru my mark bass cl115 Sounds epic with my HW4003
  21. No document on signal chain but the way it reponds to tone knobs indicates (to me) that the toneprint is before eq.
  22. A 64 neckplate should look like this , currently for sale on ATB
  23. Apologies, I'm not able to at the moment.
  24. Also the pots look quite new…
  25. Can you show your neck plate please for comparison- maybe block out some digits
