Up is my TRB1006J. Recently bought a high end 6 and can't justify keeping it. It's been well looked after and had a full service and a brand new barrel jack in June. The previous owner had a ramp installed (very well I might add), there is also dunlop straplocks installed, other than that its all original. I can post but I would prefer not to, I travel quite a bit so Im always happy to try and make a meet up work. Mainly after cash, but try me for trades. Thanks

NBD but it's going back (could be rare though)

Nice. I had a Mk1 and enjoyed it. I’d like to try a Mk2 at some point.

I can’t afford a TE1200 at the moment but might just add a 1200 watt to my list of projects. The trouble is the list is getting longer, not shorter.

I get what you saying totally, but even though it keeps my house warm, and provides me with hot water, eventually, (i miss my old hot water tank), I would rather spend £2400 on music stuff than a new boiler. My last house related purchase was a washing machine because I ‘broke’ the old one washing my motorcycle rags that had fully synthetic gear oil on them and then everything else that got washed after stunk of oil. That really annoyed me because the money I had saved servicing both bikes myself was about the cost of the new machine.

For sale, a TE Elf C110 combo in excellent condition. Reduced to £340. This really is immaculate, as is its cover. All you'd excect from the Elf range and surprisingly powerful and loud (if needed). Functioning perfectly and supplied with original TE documentation. I've ended-up with two (silly stereo experiment) so this - almost unused one - is no longer needed. I don't have the original box but can locate a carton for shipping if any prospective buyer wishes to organise a courier. No trades thanks. Collection would be preferable (just to the East of Manchester), though as above, courier arrangements are possible. Any questions, please just ask. Basic specs are: POWER: 130 watts @ 8 ohms, 200 watts @4 ohms (with an additional 8 ohm cabinet) FEATURES: Gain, level indicator, bass (center @ 80Hz), middle (center @ 400Hz), treble (center @ 4.2kHz), power indicator, volume, speaker/headphone selector switch, ground lift switch) SPEAKERS: 1x10” Neo 8-ohm driver DIMENSIONS: 324mm (H) x 305mm (W) x 355mm (D) CONNECTIONS: Input, headphone/line out, speaker output, balanced DI XLR (direct out) WEIGHT: 18.5 lbs

Not at all, just pointing out that while on the surface of it, adulting is boring and awful, it's not as if it doesn't yield any benefit whatsoever. It's just that sometimes those benefits/worths are taken for granted because they're not shiny or dopamine inducing. If I'm guilty of anything, it's the terse way in which it was expressed. Scottish stoicism at its finest, doesn't necessarily mean I'm being a meanie...

@LawrenceH, I'd recommend Steve at Hawker Repairs. He's done a refret on one bass and repair of a strap button screw shearing off in the wood on my Dingwall. https://www.facebook.com/share/1DztGk8S6P/

Up for sale is my Sonic Blue Fender Precision. I had this up for sale a couple of years ago but withdrew it and made some changes. It's put together using mostly Fender and Gotoh parts. The body is from a 2011 Fender Japan Classic Series 70s Precision that I had stripped and refinished in Sonic Blue nitro with a light relic. It's an alder body according to what I can find online. The refinish work was done by David Wilson. The neck is an American Fender 60s neck that I bought on here. It's got a Fender Genuine Replacement Parts stamp on the back of the headstock but I'm unsure which specific neck it is; possibly an AVRI. The pickup is a Classic '58 from The Creamery. The bridge is a Hosco threaded saddle bridge that I've lightly aged to match the aged Gotoh neck plate, strap buttons, and string tree. The machine heads are reverse gear Gotoh Resolites. The thumb rest, and knobs are Fender, the wiring is from KiOgon on here, and the pick guard is a mint green MIJ fit from earlpilanz in eBay. It's obviously got a few intended marks on the body due to the relic finish. The fingerboard has a small dent at the 18th fret but is otherwise in good condition. It's a great player and quite lightweight at 3.9kg. It's a great player as well and the neck is nice and straight. I'll include a Fender gig bag and postage is an option.
