    So... mainly UX improvements then? A big touchscreen, more encoders and buttons. And obviously more CPU horsepower. Possibly handy with the more esoteric effects - e.g poly pitch-shift - but the current HX is still no slouch for most use cases. The new "Agoura" from-the-ground-up modelling looks impressive on paper, but realistically... isn't this going from 90% recreation accuracy to, say, 95%? Who is going to notice 5% better sag emulation in the real-world? Why yes, I AM an existing Helix owner. Why do you ask?

    IME it makes no difference to the global settings whether I do a wipe and restore or not. Neither way has reinstated them for me. All it appears to do is add another 30 minutes onto what is already and overlong process, and the last time I did a complete wipe and restore on my Helix, it insisted on rebuilding all my Presets for a third time when I next powered up the device.
