(More clearing…) sE Electronics Gemini II MK1 2013. Had this new directly from work collaboration I was doing with sE at the time. It was put to little use ever since I had it. When I did use , it was handled like new born chick and properly as you would with any dual tube mics. (Moved when cold, wait for pre amp to warm etc .. ) For certain applications - Tubes are kings and queens ! They produce beyond what is ‘sterile’ and add that subtle character (warmth.. saturation .. ) we often look for when tracking ! It sets sessions apart in my experience. So while these can do clean they arent sterile ! ! And like pre amps - tubes can set the difference between takes and parts. What is special about the Germini II is that it sounds beautiful and uncompromising for a fraction of a U47.. This mic will be HUGE on vocals, guitars, overheads, and double bass ! will be an amazing room mic as well all your podcasting needs and beyond ! Its solid build and was made during a period where sE was really producing outstanding microphones ! Price: £650 (Lowest, like for like, I could find on the bay and reverb combined is £650) Condition: Excellent. Includes: Original box, manua,l all cables and pre amp. Collection: Brighton or London. or can post within the UK (tracked and insured, at your expense.(will be heading upnorth 23/24/25/ August so can meet along M1/M6. Meet along the way or outside Manchester or nearby cities.) Fell free to ask any questions , - If of any interest, im happy to throw in a pop filter and a boom arm that might fit your vocal filter - free of charge ,, let me know if interested. Thanks ! (The actual briefcase box was stored in attic studio and was moved about, might have few scratched on the body of the briefcase.. but nothing I could see that was worth taking a picture)

You’re welcome, I’ve been there. People knew what my father was like, but he was so likely to resort to the law of libel if they said anything he didn’t like that they kept quiet. He hospitalised a girlfriend such that her kids didn’t recognise her

It wasn’t just that comment that annoyed me, but it was as you said mainly years of anger of Lorne being painted as a saint when he really wasn’t. I have spoken to the person who made the thread and I have asked him to take them down. Thank you for your support 😊

I think he needs to invest in a back up strap and some time in sorting out his pedal board. No-one should be getting shocks from a pedal board. Its generally all low voltage in pedals and suspect its more a static thing than actual voltage shock but definitely needs investigating. I prefer my fans in front of the band 😂😜😂 I take a large 18" gym fan for our female singer and a smaller 16" gym fan for myself. Drummer also uses a 16" gym fan. Wearing Glam costumes and wigs it does get very hot on stage and those fans and 2 litres of water each gig are my saving grace. 🤩 Dave

I get that totally. People used to think my father was great too. Small village back then is not dissimilar to Facebook situation now

I see, perhaps @sascha peakman your name was confused innocently with Sascha Bennett. I get why you were upset though, not taking away any of your righteous anger about Lorne

That’s the thread I’m referring to, but it was mainly the people commenting about my dad on there that was rubbing me the wrong way, especially @impathological.
-
I stopped replying due to the amount of messages I was receiving and was being overwhelmed. I’m sorry that I never got back to you.

I was not the romantic interest, please stop spreading lies. I am his biological daughter that suffered for years because of this man.

Ah...after fret work, I see. That's a different kettle of fish from a regular polishing routine then.

I've got everything except the pickguard. I need to do some carpentry/filling before I order that. I'm quite looking forward to this one. Much better than forking out a grand for what I'm doing.

No averaging! Likewise no integrating, differentiating, fitting polynomials to the curve of the number of basses bought in a given period or training AI networks to calculate the maximum entropy of the data set of the basses for sale in the marketplace.

Tonerider Jazz pickups... how good are they really?
Hellzero replied to wateroftyne's topic in Accessories and Misc
I tried almost everything available on the market and as I already said it to you @wateroftyne, they are not good, they are excellent. The only pickups that sound "better" are the (not that expensive compared to Lollar and the likes) Lundgren pickups: https://shop.lundgrenpickups.com/collections/bass -
So where is this thread ? Did it get deleted ? There are several that mention “lorne”

Hi all Didn’t trust Philip Conrad on his JMJ pushing so went on my own to trial a few ‘stangs including JMJ briefly. Among them were the Squier one which is strung with Chromes and the Vintera currently strung with Labella MUS ones. Both sound awesome for the money and Vintera feels sooo awesome. I think it is the chunky neck. I then stumbled upon a Bronco pumped up with Tru Bass strings and an SD quarter pounder at a stupid price. Added to that the chunky neck which I love and the 60s cartoony (Pink Panther) sound I am keeping it. So 500 quid plus postage for Vintera and 250 quid ish plus postage for the Squier. Both come with cases and I’m happy to hand deliver to London or pick up Canterbury. Unless someone has something crazy to offer I will hold out for sale-only Cheers Fatos

Bartonlini, had a Tune Woodbass fitted with Barts, hated the sound of it, had a top end Bass Collection fitted with Barts, hated the sound of it, had an ESP Horizon 5 string where the original pickups and electrics had been replaced by Bartolini stuff....double hated the sound of it....sorry if you just looked at you ESP and thought "hey! I'm stuck with that POS now!"
