Crikey, that's ickle - 200w into 4 Ohms isn't too shabby, though :)

I think that'll look a little silly perched on top of my EBS 4x10 (I mean, seriously, I've had comments about my MB-500, like 'where's the amp?')

However, for those looking for a compact and seriously lightweight amp/cab solution, that's gotta be the dogs danglies - partner that up with a Compact or Midget, or both

Damn, that's all I need now - more GAS

The cabs are super lightweight too:

The 2x12 is just 34 lbs - I thought my old Begantino 1x12's were light at 31lbs!

That's also lighter than the Shuttle 2x10 cab @ 37lbs. . .

The new Gallien cabs/combo/micro amps are probbaly the lightest out there.

I saw the spec of that 4x10! I cannot believe it! Now THAT makes it worthwhile going lightweight. Some of the really expensive neo 4x10s weigh as much as my Aguilar DB212....which is taking the point out of lightweight.

THAT Gallien 4x10 is just silly light!

Personally, I really want one of the 2x12 combos. 500W into 2x12....
No uk pricing for the MB200 head (that i've seen yet). BUT... My bro in law flies to LA next week. Hmm... Shall i?
Is it multi-voltage?

I nearly made a mistake with the Shuttles - the 6.0 is dual voltage but the 3.0 isn't.

Brian at G-K got back to me on this:

"The MB200 will not be available for about 8 weeks. A unit bought in the U.S. would need to be internally converted to work in the U.K."

So scuppered on all fronts!
How much for the MB-200 crez5150 ?
And scuppered with the 410 as they've gone and put a handle on the top, what's the point in that? I want my amp to rest on the top, especially with a 4x10.
I've got the MB-200 coming on Approval so I couldn't tell you.... I'll find out though.

First thing I noticed about the MB-200 in the pic (on the GK website - not in the OP pic) was the honking great feet it has (maybe it just seems that way since the rest of it is so small). It'll probably sit over the top of the handle I'd think.
I think I've seen SoundsLive listing them at £499 already
Hi Molan, think that's the MB2-500 which is the bigger version already available in the UK.

 • 2 weeks later...
My intention was to replace my 410 and keep my rack amp. Would possibly look at installing side handles if I had to.
Turn the cab on its side?
