Acoustic 126 combo - finally Sold, woo

Traded my more practical but much more boring combo for this beast. Totally impractical for me, as much as it is a classic and sits looking cool. I always wanted the 360 my tutor had, now I have a horn cab, I don't need this to satisfy my Acoustic urge.

£250, in Bristol.

Cheers,

Speaker appears to be a replacement, although everything eappears in really good condition, looks more modern smooth black job.

I think acoustics used to have Fane speakers, shame it's a replacement. I like Fane's myself. It's also 125watt if I'm not mistaken.

I too like the 360's. If I could find one and had the £££'s I would get one. :)

Just had it out, doesn't look as modern now, oldschool square magnet, no manufacturer but what looks like a service sticker on it. Will get a pic some point later when a camera is about. No wonder it weighs a ton, the port goes half way up the back, really long then flared into the horn at the front. All really thick ply.

grossly overspent at the moment and much too heavy but i would still love it.

If its gor square magnets it could well be one of the original eminence, it looks in great condition o I dont suppse its had that much use.

Think sort of fast, a chap just called about it, cause I stuck it in Trade-it. Might be a bit heavy for him though.

Someone else considering is still a little more leverage on the inevitable haggling. Cheers.

nothing like a precision through an acoustic amp.

Ive used exclusively either a 220 or a 150b for the last 12 months relegating the ashdown and the eden to the spare room.

Ive got one of these now as well, havent used it on a gig yet but sounds great at home.

Give it a try Chris and if it doesn't work for you I will probably have it off you in a month or so. If I bought it now I would be divorced :)
Plus if you come to try it at the House of Bass, you get to play with all the other nice toys here. (No, Vintage P basses, sorry Chris.)
Maybe this is destiny in progress , if there is such a thing....? :)
