ped Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Just popped into the Oxford Guitar Gallery to get a cardboard box and saw they have a nice 70's stingray in natural with black scratchplate. Very worn and used, bullet truss rod and 3 point neck plate and original foam mutes at the bridge. Bloke didn't seem to know much about it but picked £1200 out of the air as an opening price. Might be worth checking out for someone! The neck was dead straight. Cheers ped

Oh and please... a tad insulting having an image of a Spector guit*r instead of a bass when you click on the Spector bass link!

[/quote] Yeah, they haven't had a Spector bass in the shop for ages - the chap that does the admin on the site posted the Spector guitar (!) - i'm going through it over the next week or two to sort out that kind of slackness There's a link for basses on the specials page - under the line that says 'Specials - Electric Guitars'
