wateroftyne Posted Sunday at 22:11 Posted Sunday at 22:11 Any fellow Genesis nerds picked this up yet? The Atmos mix - which is also on all the usual streaming platforms if you don't want to spend a silly amount of money - veers between wonderful and... jarringly puzzling. Curious to hear thoughts... 1 Quote
Clarky Posted Sunday at 22:29 Posted Sunday at 22:29 I had the chance to listen to most of the first 'LP' (up to Chamber of 32 doors). Very clear sound vs original but the bass seemed pushed up very high in the mix and Phil Collins' drums too low (very obvious on title track). Need to give it another listen, along with the second 'LP'. Quote
Woodinblack Posted Sunday at 22:55 Posted Sunday at 22:55 I tend to avoid remixes like the plague as the remix of Trick of the Tail was so terrible, but as I wasn't that bothered or tied to that album, I should probably give it a listen. Quote
Cosmo Valdemar Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I'm liking what I've heard so far. The bass pedals sound amazing. Quote

Mostly wonderful, frequently revelatory, but occasionally puzzling..! The hiss at the end of In the Cage. The remixed vocals on ‘32 Doors’ which totally changes the harmonic centre of the chorus. The completely MIA low synth swoop on ‘…burn it to ash’ on Back in NYC. There’s some strange choices. Otherwise… great. 1 Quote
Burns-bass Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I recorded two albums with John Burns and he showed us all the tracking sheets and studio stuff from the album. Lots of stories! 3 Quote
