kevin_lindsay Posted Saturday at 08:48 Posted Saturday at 08:48 (edited) When I'm bored, I do a new build. This is my latest. Poplar P-Bass body (i was inspired to use Poplar when I found out that the new Pino Stingrays would use this wood) Rothko and Frost Paisley Paper (over £33 for each sheet for the front and rear!!! Aaaagh!!) Custom wound pickup CTS pots Roasted flamed maple neck - i used white mother of pearl side dots to make them easier to see against the darkened maple when gigging. Nitrocellulose lacquer used on the body and the neck Lollipop tuners Edited Saturday at 09:18 by kevin_lindsay 12 Quote

snorkie635 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Kevin, I salute you. Very, very classy. I envy you your obvious talent. To think I was in Motherwell yesterday and had no idea I was orbiting genius! 👍 1 1 Quote
Mykesbass Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Blooming lovely. Is that green a true representation of what it looks like in the flesh? Inspired choice if it is. Quote
kevin_lindsay Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago (edited) The green is the colour the Shoreline Gold became when the yellowed lacquer was applied Edited 3 hours ago by kevin_lindsay 1 1 Quote
Jackroadkill Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Man, that's very nice indeed.... I had (and stupidly sold) a paisley Telecaster, and have wanted a bass in the same scheme for ages. Quote
