Woodinblack Posted Tuesday at 18:58 Posted Tuesday at 18:58 I am sure I saw this before but I can't find it anyway, but if you have just over a grand to spare, you couldn't do much worse than throw it on this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/177235717435 Quote

alyctes Posted Tuesday at 23:31 Posted Tuesday at 23:31 They've been trying to flog that for quite a while. Seven or eight years at least. Can't imagine why it's such a problem. 1 Quote

Homatron Posted yesterday at 13:56 Posted yesterday at 13:56 How does anyone acquire so many old bits and incomplete instruments? And does anyone buy these things? A strat neck plate for £1000, for example. I'm no expert, but that's a lot of money for a tiny piece of steel with 4 holes in it. Quote

Homatron Posted yesterday at 17:30 Posted yesterday at 17:30 Hmm... I suppose that makes me a clicktim* of this ploy. *Sorry. I'm manning the BBQ so Dad jokes/puns are falling out. 1 Quote

His main trade seems to be odd vintage parts with sensible prices, a lot of the weird stuff has been up there for years and I don't think he cares whether it sells or not. It's just junk he likely got for peanuts and is taking a chance on. I've actually bought from him in the past (like 15+ years ago, was a fret guard IIRC) as he had the thing I needed at the right price. Quote
