Saw him play with The Firm at Glasgow Apollo many moons ago.

I was very impressed by him. He was using a fretless Jaydee bass at that time.

Have a listen to his Blue Murder album with John Sykes on guitar and vocals and Carmine Appice on drums.

Here's the single from it.

I really like his playing on this cover of Running up that hill by Kate Bush - loads better than plodding along on C for 4 mins! 

 

 

 

There's also a vid of him and Ian from SBL talking through it that is worth a watch.

I'd forgotten all about this song with Kate Bush. That's an incredible version of my fav KB song.

Tony's playing is absolutely superb and suits this song way better than the original bass line.

Even the drums sound far better on this version.
