alyctes Posted Sunday at 22:15 Posted Sunday at 22:15 (edited) The seller has provided pictures of the bass, and describes it as having cosmetic damage but fully functional. Errr, no. To be fair, it's possible he actually doesn't understand that it's not supposed to be like this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/286668549376?itmmeta=01JYCTZZGMB1HN04SQP12EXRDH&hash=item42bec6ed00:g:g-QAAeSw1AtoV-I5&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAAwMHg7L1Zz0LA5DYYmRTS30lTgDzPBbALadvFO7aZvxvdRVdqsbPx7XTtxwnIqo1FdQRnrNBTDarYwORSfrgnmuW4we0w4SmNOy1Et92NabOQJ4A08AIL2HeIWKwHef6UWWpdL88cRh4zoEZ1CLR3WGq7vaDZyZjrE1CmC9qKZjDYOH9p4Be2SOz2wZeoLJtS%2BADuG9%2B%2BrUHjisGUQVkSN7nn%2FnulcC9J8tFXZVcxYYQBRlik1NAV8k1s1lhfl9EQMA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR7j4_5rzZQ Edited Sunday at 22:16 by alyctes Quote
tauzero Posted Sunday at 22:52 Posted Sunday at 22:52 Almost tempting for £1.75. If it was a 5 I'd have it. £15 tops though. TBF, it's Ebay's definition of "used", and Ebay's boilerplate description text. 1 1 Quote
Woodinblack Posted Sunday at 23:08 Posted Sunday at 23:08 Apparently according to the description it has 20 frets. Do they come in a separate bag? If you happen to have another neck, its fine for £1.75! 2 1 Quote
Hellzero Posted yesterday at 07:10 Posted yesterday at 07:10 "a reliable and stylish instrument"... Well, urm, urm, maybe if you're an arrow shooter. 🤦🏻 1 Quote
rwillett Posted yesterday at 09:17 Posted yesterday at 09:17 I couldn't work out what was wrong with it. I'm looking over the body thinking its fine. I looked at the headstock and thought that looked fine. I read the description and thought that's the normal bollocks that eBay puts on. Standard boilerplate. I couldn't see what the issue was at all. I never looked at the neck at all. I need more coffee, a lot more. I do like the comments as well Rob 1 1 Quote
binky_bass Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago A standard eBay AI description from the spec and the title the seller provided. 100% not written by the seller. 1 Quote
BigRedX Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Made fretless by completely removing the fingerboard. 1 Quote
Tim2291 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Tbf, if you live local, even if it went up to £2.00, you'd get some spare parts and a heat source which will be good come winter with current energy prices! Quote
