Bassman1974 Posted Monday at 13:28 Posted Monday at 13:28 The lack of effort that's gone into this ad is mind blowing 1 Quote
Steve Browning Posted Tuesday at 08:12 Posted Tuesday at 08:12 That is a thing of beauty and a good weight. My own '71 has far less mojo than your bass. 1 Quote

We’ve all tried to explain, but it’s not sinking in, unfortunately. Quote

Geek99 Posted Tuesday at 09:01 Posted Tuesday at 09:01 Gregor seems to be using a translator, and speaking as someone who has worked in a foreign language you don’t always pay attention to translating everything said back to you, especially if you think it’s not directly helpful to your aim I figured that if I write it in polish, he may at least read it more carefully and if he still won’t do what is normal here, I can quite reasonably give up on this situation with my head held high - as they say in cool hand Luke “there’s some men you just can’t reach”. I hope that i am wrong 1 Quote
briansbrew Posted Tuesday at 09:12 Posted Tuesday at 09:12 You dont bump where the pictures are as that doubles up on the listing, this can be very nauseating to look at 2 Quote

Yes, this is normal behaviour it shows that the bass is probably in your possession. If you were a uk seller, a buyer could visit and see the item. Since you are nowhere local, a buyer will be more careful. good luck with your sale 🤞 Edited yesterday at 08:57 by Geek99 Quote
Quasar79 Posted yesterday at 09:00 Posted yesterday at 09:00 Still no pictures of pickup and pot dates, neck stamp, etc. That would be nice too! 1 Quote
Geek99 Posted yesterday at 09:09 Posted yesterday at 09:09 (edited) @Quasar79 wants the moon on a stick 😊 @gregorbass please can you show pictures of the neck heel and neck pocket, plus the rear side of the volume and time controls ? it is normal to do this when you say that this is a vintage instrument. It costs a lot of money and potential buyers want to be sure that it is really vintage **. That is why they ask so many questions, and to achieve a distance sale of a very expensive item you do need to be patient and understanding. UK sellers of vintage instruments do this same thing. asking myself why I’ve become his agent… Edited yesterday at 09:12 by Geek99 1 Quote

I’m finding this a bit rude you’re trying to sell a very expensive item. You need to prove it is worth the price that you ask. I have a bridge to sell you, I ask only 3000€ It’s in London, but don’t ask me to prove that I own it. Would you buy from me? Edited 15 hours ago by Geek99 Quote
gregorbass Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago I'm attaching photos for the skeptics. As I mentioned, I have the original socket and lower part for the bass. The capacitor is legendary, not found in all basses from this period. The capacitor has shortened legs, as you can see in the photo. This was taken when the socket was replaced. 1 Quote
gregorbass Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago I have some photos of the neck stamp taken during a visit to my luthier and friend martch.pl but I can't find them... start trusting me and don't treat me like a fraud... I know the construction of old Fender basses very well, so please don't take me for a layman... Quote
Steve Browning Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago You have misunderstood our posts. It is good that you have responded to the suggestions positively - albeit reluctantly and sarcastically. They are normal requirements when trying to sell something of this vintage or value. You now have a chance of selling your wonderful looking bass. Good luck. Quote
