acidbass Posted Saturday at 16:02 Posted Saturday at 16:02 Hi all I'm looking for some advice I would like to wrap 3 x Dingwall pickups in a white colour. The pickups themselves are epoxied into the shells and white covers are not available either as an option or aftermarket upgrade. I am thinking some kind of vinyl wrapping (like they use on car parts) might work. Does anyone have experience of doing something similar? Cheers! Danny 1 Quote
MichaelDean Posted Saturday at 21:11 Posted Saturday at 21:11 I don't have any personal experience, but I've seen some gold wrapped pickups before on a white/black swirl NG3. Looked sick. It should work. I think the trick to getting the curves looking good is using a hair dryer to make it more pliable. Or get a car wrap specialist to do it maybe? Quote
mcnach Posted Sunday at 10:47 Posted Sunday at 10:47 It should work. I wrapped an EB-0 pickup in matt black vinyl with the help of a hair dryer. It took 5 minutes. 5 Quote
