How far have you travelled to pick up a Bass?

It just crossed my mind... Mainly, because I'm sitting on a train, traveling from Derby to Edinburgh. To pick up a bass from another BassChatter.

 

So, anyone done more than 500 miles in a day for a Bass..?

Most for me was 400, Hemel Hempstead to Torquay and return. 

 

I did deliver a bass to a buyer in The Netherlands once, we were on tour so met up with him just down the road from where he lived.

About 200 miles each way is the most I've gone for the sole purpose of buying a bass.

I drove 550 miles to Preston and back to pick up a Wal Mk 1 . Bloody long day but no regrets!! X 😊
