Tejedor Posted May 8, 2023 Share Posted May 8, 2023 Stopped by just to say hello and to introduce myself. I started playing bass at the age of thirteen. Formed a band with some chaps and gals from school. We played some cover songs and practiced several hours by day. For our age, we sounded pretty damn well. At the age of fiftheen I bough my first fretless. My bass teacher had one and I was amazed by the sound and the fact that you could play a non classical instrument without frets. That bass become my first choice instrument for a long time. Years passed, played with some other guys in different bands and then life happened (university, work, etc.) and quit playing for almost twenty years. Now in my fourties bass entered in my life again. I started playing again... I still have my fretless and my fisrt PJ bass, it's crazy now those that those are almost thirty years old. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
