I had that with my plucking fingers at last gig on just one song that i've been playing for past 6yrs (Ballroom Blitz mid section where bass ties in with drums)

I ended up having to ad-lib it as best i could. Its not even a fast or hard part. I just couldn't get it right in my head.

Old age doesn't come itself @Lozz196. That's my excuse anyways. 😂

Mine too, well thought out bass lines that really add to the songs and are really interesting to play.

I used to play in a "Friends of DP" tribute and we covered any band that was directly linked to DP which allowed us Rainbow, Whitesnake, DP and even Sabbath thru Dio. Loved playing Stargazer, that was one of my all time favs. So much energy and emotion in that song for a bassist. IMO of course.
