Having to sell nearly all of my basses due to employment situation.

Here we go....

SOLD Lakland Skyline Joe Osborn 5 String - 3 Tone Sunburst, Rosewood board & Tortoise Shell Pickguard
This one is just under 2 years old and in complete working order. It was one of the last ones to have Lindy Fralin Pick up which I believe are better than the new Lakland ones. There is no blemishes at all. Set up with some brand new lakland strings and set up by a pro. Tight B with a vintage sound and cuts through well. Owned from New.

SOLD Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub 4 String - Black, Maple board & Tortoise Shell Pickguard
This one is just over 2 years old and in complete working order. It was one of the ones with Lindy Fralin Pick up which I believe are better than the Lakland ones as they sound much like a sixties bass (read some reviews on them). The Hipshots were replaced with black ones aswell as the string trees and Schaller Strap locks and come with the ashtray pick up cover. There is no blemishes at all except for slight general playing and a couple of small barely noticable scratches by the jack input. Set up with thomastik Flats at the moment but sounds great with both and set up by a pro. Has the motown sound all the way through to rock bass and does it all well like a classic P-bass.

1993 Fender CIJ 75 reissue Jazz Bass - Natural Ash, Maple neck with block inlays and tortoise p/guard
This one has been my main bass for well over 5 years and has served me well and I am quite saddened to see him go. This is purely the best jazz I have ever played. It has figured wood on the neck like I have never seen on a fender which is really deep. A solid and deep sound. Dimarzio Model J pickup were installed about for years ago which gave it slightly less 70's vibe and more 60's and a massive vintage midrange bump in it to cut through any musical setting. Also I had the Japanese wiring replaced with USA vintage cloth wire and an Orange drop capacitor which made a huge difference. It comes with the 2 ashtrays too. Also it has a Badass 2 install which makes this bass have near inifinate sustain (to the point where I was recording with it and I was fading it out myself but the engineer said let it naturally fade out and when we punched back in and let the last note ring out, it sustained for close to 90 seconds .. ahah). It's in perfect working order with general wear and tear with years of playing as well as some small chips which are hardly visable on the bottom side of the bass.

Joe, you need to put wrapping paper on these basses

For anyone who needs to know, JT is a top fella, in fact, here's the man himself, albeit with my rig..:

I've just been through all your pix, and I have to say that you are the worst photographer I've ever seen! (no offense intended, I guess it's a phone camera!). I'm looking for another bass at the moment, and I really like the look of Laklands, but I've never tried one. I'm off to London tomorrow, so I'm going to see if I can find one to try somewhere (not sure where other than Denmark st???). Might be interested .........
