Will come with the original Music Man StingRay hard case (which was still a paid option in 2002).

Non-smoking environment as usual.

I'm only selling this bass because I'm thinning down the herd as I've just acquired a Status S2 Classic 5 headed fretless, which suits my taste better than any fretted bass.

Here is the link to the StingRay 5 page https://www.music-man.co.uk/instruments/basses/stingray-5

The bass has been fully set up professionally by Christophe LEDUC. It has a new battery and is fitted with a brand new set of D'Addario EXL170-5 nickel round wound strings (45 - 65 - 80 - 100 - 130), which fit the bass to perfection.

What you see is what you get !

Look at the pictures taken under different angles to see the real condition : almost in new condition with the very few scratches, the most "important" ones being on the headstock (bloody low ceilings).

Don't hesitate to ask for more.

somebody buy this already, i’m fed up with coming back to this post, i don’t need this, i’m having a hard time with 4 strings as it is... having said that, maybe i could take 2 strings off here, make a living with 3 and use the extra space, build a small cottage, use it as a workspace, maybe rent it out when the circus is in town, have elephants for tea and biscuits, we could jam 24/7, trombones are far underrated except when they’re overrated, which is in a way always, so you see there’s signs of justice everywhere except in this post... time wasted wisely, right?

Set of flatwound chrome long scale medium gauge bass strings. Only played once before deciding I needed a lighter gauge.
      Gauges are: 50, 70, 85, 105.
The strings are cut to fit a Fender Jazz bass so will still be long enough for all types of bass.
Normally £42. Will post for a couple of pounds extra.

2001 Stingray 5 in excellent condition with a weight of 9lb 12oz according to our kitchen scales.  There are two small dings which I've included in the photos - one just inside the bridge and the other which is top front middle.  Recently professionally set up with new round wounds (would need to try and check model of strings) that still have plenty of life in them.  A vintage style hard case (not original) is included within the price and is fully functional.  Happy to meet up within an hour's drive or collection from Long Ashton which is just outside Bristol.  Also open to posting within its case and would be well bubble wrapped and boxed up.  Thanks for looking

A set of lightly used GHS Pressurewound M7200-5.  They were on a Lakland 35" scale for a few hours, and I don't think I even cut them to length.  I'm also throwing in a set of 4 string D'Addario Chromes that have been in the box and a sealed bag for a few years now, and didn't see much use.  An ideal bundle for those wanting to compare and contrast!
      Specs:
      GHS M7200-5
      Gauge 44, 62, 84, 106, 128
      Nickel
      Hexcore
      D'Addario Chromes ECB81
      Long scale
      Regular Light gauge 45, 46, 80, 100.
      £30 posted for both.
