I cheated dude :)

Thats Plasti-Kote white primer , then 5 coats of Hycote Lacquer

The pickups have already receievd the same treatment.

Bridge is next

That's not cheating, that's a tidy bit of work right there! I look forward to seeing them on the bass!

There's a way to go mate

Bridge is under way, then the tuners, but just the elephant ears, not the mech itself

Then more extensive work on body, ( routing and other stuff ) and preamp to fit and cable up

Gonna be a month or so, minimum

I haven't taken much in the way of photos, so it wont look like a diary. Also, the serious work has to go to someone else, and i dont want to add to
their workload by making them stop for photos at stages

I'll chuck some photos in of the finished article when its done , if thats any good ?

Limited numbers... but it's easy enough to do. Blast the coating off existing hardware and powder coat. Hipshot would probably send you a bridge uncoated cos they seem awfully nice chaps.

Someone wanted one the other day and I suggested that but afterwards I replied thinking actually powder coat might be too thick, it's not great on anything detailed like saddles, Also it's quite soft so saddle screws would sink into it even if you just did the main part?

I am looking for white hardware for a forthcoming build - quotes I've hard for blasting and powder coating have been a minimum of £40. Not clear about thickness but I suspect it will be thicker than the existing finish on most hardware.

I'll keep you apprised.
