fretmeister
BB has been in Facebook. Loads of his basses have been stole, including the red Lull signature model that been his main bass for 17 years. HazBeen
I detest thieves, zero respect for sneaky rats stealing other people's hard earned stuff. He will be gutted as the M5 was very special to him. Fingers crossed for him.....
timmo
It must be hard to get rid of the SWR head with such a low and easily remembered serial number. Just hope they are all recovered, but I doubt it.
mentalextra
Sad. Hopefully he gets them back, but in all honesty they were probably stolen to order
toneknob
This is a brilliant read: in Bryan's own words, how he tracked down and caught the criminals. Some of the gear has been reclaimed as well. http://www.bryanbeller.com/cms/index.php?page=lob45storagewars "we can get you a badge but you'll have to cut your hair"

Especially the bit where the police didnt seem that interested until they realised who the criminals were.
ezbass
A great read with an almost, but not quite, happy ending. It goes to show that if law enforcement agencies had more money, time and resources they'd be able to do the footwork that BB did. I look forward to a final, positive resolution to the tale. ivansc
Sad that he didnt recover any more of his instruments right away though. My 1962 Precision bass went walkies in 1964 and never resurfaced.
LewisK1975
Yep - a great read, he definitely has a knack for telling a story! Hope he gets the Basses back.....
fleabag
I love the fact that Beller uses the name The Life Of Bryan as his title. I wonder if he ever watched...
