mingsta Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 The action on my beloved Stingray 4HH has been out of sorts for the past year or so and the usual truss rod/saddle height adjustment doesn't seem to be able to sort the issue out. I'm guessing it might need someone with better skills who can look at the frets and neck angle etc. Could anyone recommend me a luthier in London/Surrey who's a wizard at this kind of stuff? Closer to you is Feline Guitars in Croydon, they have done all my guitar work for years, including three stainless steel refrets. Recommend them highly. synthaside Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I'd second Chandlers in Hampton wick , He's done a great job with my Status , didn't scoff when i brought in my sentimentally over-valued T-bird to have more work than its worth done on it after loaning it to a moronic user. Walking into the shop is like going back in time to the 80's mind ...you. Its no glass superstore displaying guitars like an art gallery ... More a mom and pop type store where one counter is sales and the other has have charlie hunched over the bowel's of some poor knackered instrument and the vertically gifted beware of the low hanging guitars/ basses in the roof.
