Three attempts at links in the 2014 OP gave this result;

"... can't find the server at licklibrary.ceros.com."

Followed the Guitar Magazine link and tried to search for "Hohner Headless B2-ADB-BK Bass" as listed in your OP but GuitIntMag did not recognise the text string.

Lost interest.

Was I missing something?

The link you've quote will take you to all of the editions. Issue 22 is the one you are after and I've just zoomed to page 150 to make sure it has landed ok. I used the Chrome browser.

p.s. - I will edit out all of the links as I think the latest link quoted will be the best way to get to the magazine now. I created the post in 2014, so things have possibly moved around after 250+ reviews!

Hey all BCers!

I appreciate I am well behind with updating this thread with all of my reviews. I plan over the next week or so to create a brand new resource with links to all of my reviews that are online, either in the magazine, on the magazine website or YouTube. Then I will try to keep things current.. I've over 350 videos to find!!!!*

*Apologies, there are some review magazine links that don't work owing to a server crash at a hosting company many years ago. If I can find any footage to replace it with, I will.

thanks - your reviews of stuff are by far the best around - but really hard to find!

There are a few different ways to find my unbiased reviews:

Head to the Guitar Interactive Magazine homepage and select the 'issues' tab: (The magazine is free to read and subscribe to.)

https://www.guitarinteractivemagazine.com/issues/

You can filter-search most of my reviews via the 'reviews' tab on the website. I've set up a filter for you here:

http://www.iguitarmag.com/reviews/?page=1&producttype=bass

https://www.guitarinteractivemagazine.com/reviews/?issue=&manufacturer=&type=bass&pagesize=50&page=3

Most of my reviews, but certainly not all are on the Guitar Interactive Youtube page. I've set up a filter here too for you:

https://www.youtube.com/c/iguitarmag/search?query=bass

If you know what you are looking for, then also try a Google search, "Guitar Interactive Magazine {name of item}" that will often return an online version of my review if it exists (rather than magazine format).

Googling "Dan Veall" or "Guitar Interactive Magazine Dan Veall Bass" will throw up lots of other links where brands have put my reviews on their own websites, such as EBS, Bergantino, GK, Nemphasis, Dingwall etc etc.

It's worth noting that the filters aren't perfect. You may find that just browsing every review could pick up something that the filter did not.

Issues from 50 onwards have been archived by GI it seems, so those magazine reviews are no longer available. The videos might still be on YouTube, but no guarantee. No fear though as I work for Bass Gear Magazine now, so if you want something reviewed? Just drop me a line!!!

I look forward to using this resource in the future. I expect my bank account to suffer as a consequence though.

I'm currently working through all of the available reviews that are still live in the list above and will add those in due course. It's a bit of a mammoth job and sadly, some really superb reviews have been lost forever. The good news is that I can always revisit them having built up a great relationship with brands and distributors over the years.

Oh and the kit I have 'To Do' over the next few weeks is pretty exciting too!

And you're just going to leave us in suspense? You evil man. I hope your next barber accidentally gives you an 80s hair-metal poodle perm. Hah. :D

There will be strings, noises, flashing lights and a considerable amount of low end, some rich breathy ambience....

...and head-turning good looks. But that's enough of me..  #FaceForRadio lol
