£1750

Up for sale is my Fender Custom Shop ‘55 Precision Bass Relic.

It's made in 2003 and has an ash body, quarter sawn maple neck and a maple fingerboard. It's a great player, sounds deep, crisp and full. These 55's have body contours, so they are lighter, and in my opinion, more comfortable then the earlier slab styles.

It's unique bass, excellent reissue, has authentic sound and Fender Custom Shop quality. A faithful recreation of the 1955 Precision Bass.

Item location: Prague, Czech Republic

Sold with: Original G&G Vintage Tweed Case (Orange Interior) and Certificate of authenticity

Trades: Other Fender Custom Shop (Pino Palladino Sign. model), or something more modern. I mean for example Yamaha BBNE2 (Nathan East sign. model), Yamaha TRB JP2, USA Spector (5-string), Germany Warwick (5-string), Sadowsky 5, Xotic 5 JB, Sandberg TSBS, Musicman Stingray 5, Bongo 6 HS or something diffrent.

Payment: I accept PayPal or a bank transfer.

Shipping: Shipping is included. Only EU.

About me: I'm a newbie here. I have no feedback. Don't worry. Here is my feedback on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/usr/jirifrey

For the avoidance of doubt, there's another Czech based BCer Davidak who has bought and sold a few basses here. The gallery includes his name in the web link. Are you the same guy with a new BC username or are these his photos? http://basschat.co.uk/user/9037-davidak/ Or is it a complete coincidence? Just think people would want to know

I was ready with the bank details right up until nut width :(
What a fabulous bass, good luck with the sale, somebody is going to get lucky.

PS, I am sure I saw, very recently, a Jaco on UK FEEBay or Bumtree

Hey, why is it here? Looking for something more modern or newer model with a split coil pickup (1961 +). This bass is amazing, I fell in love for a one minute of playing, but not ideal in a band where I play (alternative rock).

What I meant was that it is a lovely bass and I think it's a shame nobody has bought it yet.
