These were a lot of money, in the day.

A really nice, serious bass.

A nice weight, well balanced, luvverleeeeeeeeee neck and some great sounds, to boot!

Would be a good addition to anyone's collection.

This is mine - almost identical.

Just about right, for most.

A cross between a P and a J - not too fat and chunky, not too skinny.
They are just a really nice bass to play.

As I said, in their day, they were a fair old wedge - in 1984, they were
£328.87!!!! :o :o
I know, because mine came with all the Gigsville stuff, including the
Guitarzan hang tag!!

Hope someone on here grabs it - not many around.

Cheers. :)

Ha. Whadayknow!!! :o

A great bit of kit, gone for pennies.

He should have stuck a fake Fender/Gibson sticker on it - the bidding would have rocketed!!

I found the pic.

In today's money, that is over £1000.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope whoever got it knows they got an absolute steal!

Hey Ho!!

Cheers. :)

You'll have to take some of the credit (blame?) for me buying it with your description of it. I've searched the net for some information about the bass but can find nothing. I bet you can tell us all about the body , neck, fingerboard woods and such like...

Edit; This was supposed to appear as a response to Bassassin's last post. My error.

Probably FlatEric can tell you more than me, as he's got one! And Noel knows this stuff way better than I do...

I've got an RSB Deluxe 2, which appears to be the same bass apart from having a J-layout bridge pickup instead of the 2 Ps the SB has. Solid colour body/neck too. Just curious whether they are essentially the same bass - although FlatEric can probably answer that, too, as I seem to remember he has a nice pearl white RSB Deluxe.
