All the more tempting nowadays as they've gone and chunked up the neck profile on the 74 reissues and these are discontinued. The necks on these are very skinny and this weight is quite rare. Mine is under 9 pounds and is total j heaven. Punchy, burpy, super resonant. Total jazz bliss.

Can you tell I like these jazzes?

Thanks chaps. PM's replied. Prefer sale. There is a second hand one of these on FEEBay right now at a BIN OF £1250!
Once one of the three sells (if I live long enough  ) I will remove the other 2 from sale.
Cheers,
Karl.

I have the rosewood fretboard version of this bass. It is a stunning quality instrument. I can't see how any of the smaller "boutique" builders could better these.

The woods used are superb. The fit and finish are flawless. I can only talk about my own bass but the neck is fantastic - slim and wonderfully finished. It is perfectly set up and balances well on the strap.

The sound is thick and deep on the neck pickup, and snappy and funky on the bridge pickup. Pickup blending gives a whole range of sounds. Rolling off the tone even more so.

They don't make these anymore so I can't imagine what Karlfer is replacing this with.... :o

If you're thinking of buying this bass, I can recommend it 100%.

Frank.

OK. I was going to remove this last week when I returned from selling the Geddy. By the time I got home, there were two offers on the table.
I have not bumped/commented on the thread as I was kinda letting it die for a while.
Currently Neil's offer of full price/meet at Hartshead is the one I will take IF I decide to sell this. I am giving the Glaub a bit more time to sell as I would far prefer to sell that than this one. Everybody who has made offers has been told this.
So, to answer the question , sorry but not up for trades.
However I wish that Dakota Red would sell as that continues to tempt me to just sell this.
