Jap third, followed by the Mex, neither of were bad in any way. Would love to have heard some Squiers as well. Not sure of the point of the 'tone off' sections... but great playing throughout! Didn't like the tone off tests though...who would do that..??? JTUK Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Rosewood with both pickups. Maple with bridge Not keen on either neck pickup sound but then I don't favour that sound anyway. Again, don't like the tone off on either and I wouldn't dull down a sound to that degree either. Not overly sold by the slap sounds on both pickups on either bass. I'm actually surprised at this as I'm not usually an advocate of the thinking that a bass is better simply because it's US built. This video would suggest that I'm wrong. Frank.
