Wiggybass
Medical bills require me to sell my favorite bass. I am sure to regret it later... 1988 fretted Wal Mk1 with irish jew facings. The Bass was serviced in 2010 at Electric wood (Wal) and is in superb condition. It has a very smooth neck and super low action and that classic Wal tone. The facings are rare and very nice looking, the photos don't do the detail grain justice. The bass is in germany, Ruhrgebiet, and can of course be seen and played (loud). Professional and insured shipping inside EU is also no problem. International shipping on buyers risk and cost. It has the nice and soft "old" case, also in good condition. It works perfectly but has taken a dent or two optically. The bass itself is like i said in surprisingly good condition - you'd never guess it is 25 years old. I am asking for 3500€, that amounts to about 2900 pound. Attaching files did not work (basic as well as advanced uploader) . I have a host of photos for those who are really interested. Images can be seen here: http://kleinanzeigen...7191750-74-1006
I think you might mean 'Irish yew'...? Clarky
I think you might mean 'Irish yew'...?
in the name of the law (Bad joke, sorry) More seriously, best of luck with your sale but adding a link to pictures of the bass in a hosted website like photobucket or flickr would really help your sale along Edit: I see you've added a link. Good stuff! Beautiful bass Edited January 21, 2013 by Clarky

Francesco
This is absolutly stunning, and very rare. Never seen a second Wal like this. Who signed this bass off?
spiritchaser
Bump for a very trustworthy German basschatter - that Wal was mine for a short period of time after having swapped it for my Wal 6 fretless with "Funkgod". Then I got my new Wal MK I with sycamore facings from Paul and thus sold the Irish Yew Wal to djaxup. The Wal is in fantastic condition - I can really second that. Someone go for it! Viel Glück beim Verkauf Timm! Edited January 22, 2013 by spiritchaser

djaxup
This pic is a little blurred sadly. I have to unscrew the cavity again and take a look who signed it. ... so Flickr does not work either. "not allowed to use that image extension..." djaxup
Another try, this time the photo is good - but i still can't decipher the name. Maybe someone of the other Walnuts can. Attaching didn't work again from another pc. But try this link here:
