Jimryan Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 (edited) Ok, other than SX one (after one with a fender shape head), the Steve Bailey sig and the absolutely gorgeous (yet too expensive for me) clover aepiron 6. Who else, or what's the best and most cost effective way, to get a fender-esque 6 string jazz bass. I miss my old 6, but if I get another, I'd want a jazz style one, but obviously don't want one to cost the earth as I'm not in a position for a ludicrously expensive one. In the pas I've played, owned and seen plenty of thru-body 6's for between £300 and £600 brand new, surely a bolt-on jazz 6 shouldn't be THAT costly to knock up? Or am I too hopeful? But if you're after a 7 string jazz bass check out the new Bassmods range.
