Yuman Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Since being a kid I always fancied a Rickenbacker after seeing the amazing Mr Foxton on Top of the Pops. Now I'm up for an upgrade from my Peavey and I'm going to put £1500 or there abouts (a few hundred pounds each way, ok £2k tops) into my next bass. I want the Rick (cos its so f***ing cool), but I'm looking for good sense and value for money so any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. It gives me a great feeling every time I strap it on No other bass going to give you that sound! I say go for it, if it's what you want. I'd maybe suggest you get a second hand one (possibly from here) so that, if it turns out to be not to be your dream thang .... you can move it on without taking too much of a hit.
