Clone suggests an accurate copy. This isn't anywhere close. The hardware looks like cheap metal bent into rough approximations. Some Chinese copies they've learnt how to make an item from the legit production line. Can't be the case here as Rickenbacker are strictly US only. Avoid.

It's not a shop, it's the manufacturer's own website. I'd lay money that the NYC phone number is redirected to China, even if it rings at all. This stuff is all over TrandTang and similar sites.

Anyone buying would do well to remember to factor in about 25% in taxes and duties, and keep their fingers crossed that customs allow it into the country.

the OLP (OIP :D ) looks like the real thing, they made two pickup versions towards the end of production. If it's one of those and it's really unused, the price is good. Still, I wouldn't do business with that shop.

I think there must have been a lot of OLP parts on sale after production stopped.
I have seen over the past couple of years a number of OLP MM2 basses with a few odd bits, very unusual colours, the wrong type of pickguard, slightly different body shape, etc.

I suspect various people/companies bought crates of parts, and some were assembled into "genuine" OLP instruments, while some instruments end up just having an OLP neck and some hardware etc

Damn, back when I liked playing them that was the style of OLP I wanted; the two pickup option with maple fingerboard.
No longer looking however...wonder how good these clones are? I'll bet someone here is gonna check eventually. :-P
Who's the guilty one going to be?
