Modulus owners in Yorkshire?

I like the idea of a Modules 4-string, but have never tried one. I just wondered if a Modulus owner in my area will let me have a play on theirs in their own home. I live in Harrogate, and work in Leeds. Then, if I'm smitten, it will be a case of finding a used one!

HANDS OFF!!! the next modulus available is MINE MINE MINE!!

Oh, sorry, you want a 4 string. I only play 5.

I too have never tried one, but I'm sure that I really want one. They don't come up all that much in the UK though do they.

I have a 6 string Quantum, they really, really are really excellent.

Good luck in your search for one.

I have indeed spotted this one. It lives too far away for me to go and try first, but I could go with it if I knew it was the right kind of thing for me first. Hence the appeal to fondle someone's locally.

Each one is going to sound a bit different, that's true of most basses.

They aren't at all cold or sterile sounding, in fact they're very warm sounding instruments, what particular model are you after ?.

For me I like the fact that you can stick it in its bag/case, travel 150 miles by train somewhere, open the case and the action on the thing is exactly as you left it.

I got mine from the US last year, it took 3 days to arrive and was perfect when it came out of its case, and still in tune.

lets just say it wasn't exactly in the same condition as it was supposed to be-played very nice though.

I'm glad you asked, Steve. I can't keep up with Neil's GAS attacks!
