  1. Hey Folks! Here’s a really stunning bass i have up for grabs! It had only two owners before me and has all the right specs including the highly desirable B00 serial number and black epoxy preamp! The overall patina of the bass really adds to the look and feel (if you’re into that) The only none original part on the bass is a possible refret! If it has been done it’s a a pro job! The frets will be dressed in my workshop and a full setup done with fresh strings before it leaves. (I’m away this week so will be done when i return) Comes with a Hiscox hard case and the price includes UK shipping. weight is just over 10lbs feel free to ask any questions

  3. Still available and open to trades if you have a tasty jazz bass! 👍🏼
  4. Hey 👋 Should be a 39mm nut width and a Graphtech nut. Matt will have to confirm the weight but it’s not a heavy bass if my memory serves me correctly 👍🏼
  5. Beautiful collection Rob!! 👍🏼👍🏼
  6. I also wondered about this… also intrigued by the lack of metal underplate under the scratchplate. These were added in the very early 60s as far as i know.
  7. Now then! Here’s a lovely and quite rare beast of a bass! This 2013 Classic Musicman Stingray “Sledge” is In fantastic condition throughout. It looks practically new to be honest! It also has the original case which is also in fabulous shape. The finish on this bass is beautiful and really needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. It’s super hard to photograph but it has a colour shift / hollow flake effect to it (Mr Levin has great taste!!) It also features a very tasty birdseye maple neck and fingerboard! a few people asked about the weight! It’s a very manageable 9lbs 3oz! Happy to ship anywhere in the UK or of course collection / meet up is also possible I’m Potentially open to trades. Maybe a CS jazz? (plus cash from me of course) let me know if you have any questions
  8. Hey folks Up for grabs is this stunning little Mustang bass from 1966 (the first year of production) It is all original with the exception of one bridge saddle height adjustment screw. This has been replaced with a more modern allen / hex part over the years. The original dakota red finish has a beautiful patina from 57 years of use and the neck is something else! Talk about a worn in feel! It‘s the perfect weight too at just 7lbs 12oz Frets are in great shape and everything works as it should do. It even has it’s original “Victoria” case. This case has obviously seen a fair amount of use over the years as the handle and latches have been repaired / replaced here and there but it’s fully functional and perfectly serviceable. More photos available on request Happy to ship if desired. Get in touch for a shipping quote. Also happy to let those interested come and take a closer look. Let me know if you have any questions Cheers FullSizeRender.MOV
  9. Videos added to that show the colour more accurately 👍🏼👍🏼
  10. Thank you! Yeah it is! A lovely little bass! The neck is super worn in on the back. Really fun to play! that one has the original case too!
  11. Hey Folks! Here’s a very special bass for your viewing pleasure! An all original 1966 Precision in original Olympic white complete with original bridge + pickup covers and Selmer case. The neck has stunning birdseye figure and is super straight with an absolutely buttery smooth action all the way up the neck! it’s currently strung with Chromes and sounds beautiful! The truss rod has barely ever been touched and the frets are in fantastic condition. The neck date is early 66. Pots date to late 65. (I’ll take it apart and photograph the internals at some point for more accuracy) This really is a stunning instrument! Just look at that finish!!!! 🖤 (it’s more of a cream colour in person but stupid me took photos right next to the window which made it look whiter than it is) it’s a great weight too at 8.5lbs Interested parties are welcome to visit me at my home in the Keighley area to take a closer look. Please feel free to ask any questions i’m also open to trades if you have a 70s jazz or mustang. Cheers FullSizeRender.MOV FullSizeRender.mov

  13. I guess there’s a first time for everything…. It’s certainly more yellow in person when away from the direct light of the window where i took the photos.
  14. Hey Folks! i hope you’re all doing well. I thought this one might be of interest to some of you! it’s my all original 66p! The lacquer checking is pretty special right?? She’s the perfect weight too at 8.5lbs! 👍🏼
