paul_5
I wonder what John Hall had to say about that.
Stacker
It's far enough removed from a Rick bass not to have JH jumping around like Zebedee. But, then again......
Billy Apple
From what I've gleaned on other threads, Mr Hall has only copywrited the head-stock, so in this case it would appear there is bog-all he can do. Do you think Lemmy's had enough of Mr Hall, too?
Billy Apple
doesn't stop him on Ebay or making threats. Didn't before he copyrighted the stuff either.
He seems like a sad man that misses the point and alienates his market, but, meh, all this has been said before. If things had been done another way, maybe everyone would be waiting for the day to finally arrive when they owned their first Ric. Oh dear, what a pity, never mind. BigRedX
OK so who's going to be the first to post it on Ric Resource?

rubis
Nik Page does some amazing stuff, check out the Jazz-ish 5 string with a MM style humbucker.........the dice control pots are a bit 'Stray Cats' but what I presume are the neckscrews look bonkers! Reminds me of the back end of a TVR!
bigsmokebass
Unusual but I think I like it, thanks for sharing BSB

12stringbassist
Ric have trademarked most elements of the 4000 / 4001 / 4003 series basses - upper and lower horn dimensions, rear upper body shape, headstock, pickguard shape, the lot. It's a one-off, so he will probably only be hacked off if Lammy (being a sig model endorsee) has actually taken it and uses it onstage.
