He seems like a sad man that misses the point and alienates his market, but, meh, all this has been said before. If things had been done another way, maybe everyone would be waiting for the day to finally arrive when they owned their first Ric. Oh dear, what a pity, never mind.

Nik Page does some amazing stuff, check out the Jazz-ish 5 string with a MM style humbucker.........the dice control pots are a bit 'Stray Cats' but what I presume are the neckscrews look bonkers! Reminds me of the back end of a TVR!

Ric have trademarked most elements of the 4000 / 4001 / 4003 series basses - upper and
lower horn dimensions, rear upper body shape, headstock, pickguard shape, the lot.

It's a one-off, so he will probably only be hacked off if Lammy (being a sig model endorsee)
has actually taken it and uses it onstage.
