thisnameistaken Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Yes but they're all digital and the sound you'll get will be a bit thin and warbly. The cheapest option is the EHX Micro POG. There are lots of videos on Youtube demonstrating what it sounds like. There's also such a thing as an 'octave fuzz' which creates a dirty sound one octave up, but the octave effect is quite subtle and probably isn't what you're looking for. tauzero Posted May 4, 2012 Share Posted May 4, 2012 There is a way of doing it in an analogue fashion. IIRC, you modulate the original signal with the signal phase shifted by 90 degrees. I remember doing it with a Sinclair Projoect 60 Z30 amplifier module in a home-made multieffects unit in about 1973 (hence being a bit vague on the details).
