Hello folks. NOW for sale, £600 collected from Wigan, £635 delivered. No offers thanks.
Long shot but I need to get a Duck Dunn. On the rare occasion they come up they seem to go for £525/£550. The '75 re-issues seem to go for around £600+, so not much in it.
Problems with my jazz.
1. Seems to have been dropped at some time, nasty little ding at bottom strap button.
2. When taking the (crap) photo's noticed the the screw for the G string saddle is missing :) . Now replaced with correct Japanese screw.
This jazz used to belong to Tom1946, so it's a good 'un, with the slightly less common rosewood board and blocks.
This is a reluctant trade/sale, but I really need a P with a J neck.
The 3 guys who asked for a sale price when I was looking to trade, seem to have vanished, so now on open sale
Thanks for looking,
Karl.

(now posted in proper place, thanks BILBO for sorting out my senior moment :) .

Feedback.

Sorry to see it go Karl, I didn't realise it had a ding on the bottom or a missing screw, sorry mate.
Great bass this, Karl is a proper gent so buy with confidence folks. :D[/quote]

Thanks Tom.
The dint on the button I noticed when I tried it. Did not give one toss, not on this bass :) .
The missing screw/spring, erm, well, dunno, but guess I've done a few gigs with it and not noticed :) . Could have gone anytime. Still doesn't go out of tune though!
Trip to Richard Thomson on Monday methinks.
Truly sorry if it does go, but would like to get a Lakland Duck Dunn for sound and neck profile and this is the only one that could come close in value.
Look after yourself fella,
cheers,
Karl.

PS, just checked some of the bands facebook photo's, the screw/spring were definitely at a gig with me in October, so not down to you dude!!!

PM's replied to.
To publically answer a couple of questions.
99% certain it's the discontinued 75JB-US non export.
Current Japanese 75's seem to start just north of £800, plus delivery from Japan, plus all the import stuff, so probably not much change from £1000 to bring one over. A used Japanese 62 re-issue went for £720 on FEEBay couple of weeks ago, so sorry, I don't think I'm asking too much.
White also seems relatively uncommon, especially with rosewood/blocks.
Cheers,
Karl.

In response to a PM.
The company in the link are no longer trading. The prices shown are without delivery/case/gigbag.
About 2 thirds of the way down the page is the 75 reissue in natural, which shoes the colour options available.
Although not pictured, white and rosewood are mentioned. The tortie plate must be aftermarket.

The second link is current on April 2nd. Different pick up configuration, and that one is Alder not Ash.
Add postage from Japan, import duties/post office duties etc, well over £1100.

To be honest Séan, this time round there was a lot of interest.
Very tempted particularly by Bubinga 5 and Steve_Nttm.
On it's way to Gareth_hughes on Saturday, missed being able to do it tonight.
Karl.
