I'm not sure I really want to to this but I need to sell a couple of instruments and much as I like it, it's is a bit more challenging to play than I thought it would be, and to be honest I haven't been able put the time in. It needs to be cherished by someone who can dedicate a bit of time to mastering it, I'm too busy messing about with uprights and getting on in years (you can't teach an old dog new tricks etc)

I got a month ago from a nice guy called Shep pantherairsoft and I've probably spent less than an hour on it.

It's in as new condition, sounds amazing, and plays like a dream, lovely neck!

Shep has kindly agreed to let me use his pics etc. Here's Shep's in depth reveiw.

So anyone wanting to delve into the world of fretless without having to take two instruments along, this could be the way.

Was looking for a trade for NS NXT / Yamaha SLB200 / custom shop jazz / Gibson Archtop but it's gone to Bassgear

Thanks for looking Edited by Mr Bassman

Bump with more pics.

I keep picking this beautiful bass up when I get the chance, and as I become more familiar with it the more fun it is to play.

It can sound like two jazz basses, both fretted and fretless in one instrument.

Sadly this bass will be wasted on me because, I play upright 90% of the time it bass deserves to be played more than I can commit to.

Anyone local to me in Harrogate fancying a look and a cuppa give me a shout.

The little bridge pickup is for the fretless strings

have a look at this
I there just interested if you could tune the bass as 6 string
C G D A E B?
Regards

I have considered doing this myself but haven't got round to it yet, the nut might need a little work to accommodate thicker strings.

I'll take your silence as a 'no' :) In which case, have a bump on me for an unusual and attractive bass!

Sorry Clarky, I was just about to accept your offer when I realised you'd missed a nought off :)

Sorry, I traded this bass about a month ago.

Forgot about this thread, will amend.
