Fave/worst youtube bass vids

Anything that shows people playing bass goes!

One of my faves, this guy's an awesome bassist and he holds some serious groove even through the fast sections: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zqV2ymf4-k

Worst, this "lesson" from "Expert Village" (sorry, had to both both those in quotes). In the guy's defense, watching the other videos shows he's more of a pianist, but it doesn't change the fact that this has been put up on youtube by a supposed expert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A7F_FibYMg...feature=channel
There are a myriad of bad AC/DC bass covers out there but this one takes the biscuit.
I love how he's so laid back and confident that he doesn't even have to look. :)
That AC/DC buskalong was truly awful :)

I have always loved this guys playing on a budget rogue 6 string bass ...Hes unassuming, got groove, impecable timing and musicality.... looks like he is so relaxed..

Unlike this guy... i dont like to knock any ones playing, but the fact he bigs himself up so much?? his vids speak volumes...

I couldn't find any Brian Fox for some reason.
Its weird , I listened to the Manring thing last night and for me its actually one of the worst things I've ever heard from a professional player , I think I lasted about 1 1/2 mins before I stopped it. Not trying to start an argument about how good/ bad Manring is its your opinion and your entitled to it just amuses me how one thing can mean the complete opposite to other people.

Euhmmmm...it's a parody :)
It's a Dutch bassplayer who has already "changed" vids by Mark King and Victor Wooten..great shreds (and to be able to make a parody you have to first master it..)

This is the bassplayer himself, have watched this vid a lot...sounds great imo

youse guys and your widdly widdly stuff. i feel like some kind of hobgoblin oik that should never touch a bass, but then just cos Sinatra and Pavarotti rocked the heights, didnt mean James Hetfield couldnt bring something to the table. All that stuff is very impressive and clever, but when does it stop being a BASS and start becoming a piano or a violin or... Have a look at my bass world...

(of course, if I had the time, energy and talent, I'd be making youtube videos of myself playing that intricate awesome stuff too!! :))

Surprise someone here knows about Fernando Lamadrid, he's a very talented Spanish bass player, he was on this year's Todobajos Bass Day in Madrid and was the winner of the best up & coming Spanish bass player...check out his other videos.
