Thanks for the recommendations. I'm far too clumsy for making my own cables, so I guess I'll go for some of OBBM's. Anyone know the difference between the Vandamme and the Klotz cable?

Where can I get them? I don't want overly long ones, and I don't want overly expensive ones. I don't really care much about them being super-high-quality-non-oxide-copper-ionised-unobtanium-cored or whatever. I want ones that work to a decent standard. Is my best bet making my own?

I'm considering buying a LM2/3 off the TalkBass forums. I guess I'd have to pay the 17.5% VAT and that's it? Or would it be more because it's electronics?

Good stuff. A question though - For the first exercise, the little bit of notation at the end of the paragraph says to play quarter notes, but you seem to play it in eighth notes. Which one are you meant to play?

Where actually sells Schroeder cabs?

I'm well tempted to go Markbass + Schroeder 1212L. Apparently they sound middy as owt and I love mids. Also been considering Markbass + Aguilar DB112. Anyone have comments on this? Think i'll buy a LM2/3 first and see how it goes.
