3. Bit late now it's been sold, but I have mid 2000's Korean made Tokai Thunderbird, which is an extremely well made quality instrument that is easily as good as my mid 80's Japanese made Precision.
4. I had a 1972 Ford Mustang in a similar colour. That cost about £400 too...'Tis nice though.
5.
. Maybe I should give it a name?
Maybe.I have only had one named bass out of many and it's the keeper.
6.
Bugger.. I didnt even see it.. I seem to miss loads of lefty basses on ebay, whats the best thing to type in the search? I usually go for "lefty basses".
A lot of leftys aren't categorised as such.Just plow through the regulare bass section,I've found a few interesting ones that weren't in the leftys section.
7.
Well heres wishing you all the best mate..watch them sheep mind.
It's the boars I have to watch out for.And those bloody deer getting in my garden..
My 1978 Fender P,obtained by myself in 1979,(it was a slightly lighter shade then). Plenty of sentimental value, but it just feels right. You can just see the repair at the top of the fretboard after a local music shop butchered it trying to fit a new nut.All my other instruments are negotiable but this one is mine. This is me patiently explaining we don't do requests.
9. I have favourites that I wouldn't ever part with.
10. Also bog roll fight.
11. I'm in Lydbrook. This gig was at The Reckless Engineer in Bristol.Been to the Miners plenty, but oddly never played there.Yet.
12. Likely it was manufactured in 2010 and sold in 2011.
13. Twas an excellent gig. There was cake and a bog roll fight.
14. Not a problem I've ever encountered.My thoughts are a faulty batch.
15. Thumb helps hold plectrum.
16. Strangely, yes,I am exactly that stereotype. Also tattooed and moody. No hair though.
17.
Like Lowdowner said, the quality of the experience matters more than quantity,
Agreed!
18. Whilst not meaning to sound like a disrespectful old git, exactly how much experience can you have at the age of 19?
19. You left Black off the list?

21.
. It doesn't even look cool to wear the bass low , it just looks like someone following the same tired old cliche of what is suppopsed to be " rock and roll". If you've got arms like a gorilla or some kind of disability then be my guest, but for anyone with normal physiology it's pure affectation. 22.
Is an all black Precision with a maple neck cool?
I fixed it for you.
23. Has anyone considered arm length in this scenario?
24. Being a black Precision usually does it for me.
