1. It's alright pal. Good duff sound. In terms of constructive criticism just watch your timing, you are rushing occasionaly. Just hold back a bit and try to get a more definite shuffle feel. It's a tune tho. It's the first G'n'R tune i learnt and played in a band.
2. My brother plays in a band in Shef. The Winnebago's. I'll find out off him and let you know!
3.
Lemme know when you're next over here and we can try to arrange for you to meet it if you like?
Aye Lad, will do. I was gonna come watch the game tomorrow but i'm taking the bass i recently bought for £400 back to the shop for a set up. They set it up but i'm not happy with it an i need it ready before i go on a short UK tour in April.

5.
Bless.
Aww!
6. I can't believe it. I would have snapped this had it been on a month ago. I just spent £400 on a bass and am now skint. Gutted.
7. [sub]This isn't a riff but it without doubt the heaviest thing i've ever heard. Heavier than all metal put together.[/sub] http://youtu.be/aGFRwKQqbk4
8. Thought you were talkin about socialists and communists then. I'll go!
9. It's all a bit precious really. It's only a song! Who are you all?! Leonardo Da Vinci! Just get on with it. It's not like you're being asked to shag ya mum!
10. Ya know what, I never hear people talk about Tom Hamilton as a Bass Player!
11. HA ha ha! Man those types of list are dumb and pointless, but that has to be one of the dumbest!
12.
Yes, bizarre, it jumps from 1977 to 1982.
There was something about it on the radio. Apparently the first one was to celebrate the Queens silver Jubilee. It was a one off, then a few years later they thought lets knock this sh*t out every year. Probably cos it was the eighties.
13. My main band is on hiatus due to no drummer and vocalist with nodules. I'm looking to do a bit of a side project but a bit worried the singer won't take it well. She's already worried we'll replace her due to her condition, which isn't helped by her partying. I wanna do a crazy musical 3 guitar jazz fusion/heavy Rock experimental thing. But can't find a drummer in the leigh/wigan, gtr manchester area!
14. Can someone explain the science as to why they would change your sound or sustain please?
15. On it's Way to JazBazzFan.
16. Insert Band name here
17. Ultra Red Hot Nasty Metagalactic Heat Death
18. Mythical Ethical Icicle Tricycle

20. Just been introduced to these. Love it. http://youtu.be/Gh3hdKgmBsc
21. Robot Rock by Daft Punk or aerodynamic. Deeper Underground and Feels just like it should- Jamiroquai Can't remeber the name but that Massive attack tune that has that 70's fusion groove. Think it's bill bruford drumming.
22.
I won't get highly strung (this is a zep thread still;) Anyway, I just find vai a little tuneless . But , you've been to college and are better than me;)
Ha ha, I don't think that works. I went to Uni too. I just smoked weed and chatted sh*t for years. I wasn't trying to start owt
23.
Slightly off topic; saw Dave Lee Roth at same shows as siddx front row at wembley too,)Hammy o gig was great( the drums;) Malmsteen ; saw him a couple of times , and at a music fayre at wembley. He played the tiny Astoria 2 (a clothes shop in the daytime;) Schenker pulled a strop , and pulled out of a co headliner with malmsteen at hammy o about 6/7 years ago. Malmsteen smashed up his guitar, the body nearly smashed my mates head , but we caught it.great gig Steve vai ; can't listen to his stuff, but saw him a few times with Satch( my fave) .He headlined the Astoria , that gig was great . Prefer Macalpine . Back to Zep, you know it will be expensive to go. You will be lucky to get a tkt. if you do go to the 02. , the highest point of the venue is scary. Apart from that, enjoy the gig
When i was at Music college there was a Vai/Satch divide. I was in the Vai camp. Obviously Satch is a great player it's just he bored me to tears and his music seemed a little sterile to me. Where as Vai was fiery and in places a bit mental. To be Honest that's the kind of music i love the most, Fiery and a bit f***ed up, starting with Stravinsky.
